Q: What does HCF do?

Ans: HCF works towards community services and uplifting the underprivileged population by providing opportunities and resources for growth and bringing socio- economic development.

Q: How was HCF formed? Who formed it and why?

Ans: HCF was formed in 2017 by Mrs. Moangnaro Longkumer along with husband Mr. Abel Jacob, together with his friends with the heart to help people. With advisors from Banking, Agriculture sector brought collective ideas with the state of the art resources and has been equipping people in areas like skill developments, entrepreneurship, different agricultural projects and awareness programs to those who have a heart to learn and contribute back to the society.

Q: Are you a registered body?

Ans: Yes, HCF is a Registered Public Trust also Registered NGO with NITI Aayog and Income Tax Department with 12A and 80G Income Tax Exemptions Certification.

Q: What all can I give/contribute?

Ans: You can give more or less anything in cash or kind that could be of use to another. We take dry rations, household items, medical equipment, stationery, office tables & chairs, racks, Almirah, computer, laptop, printer, Photocopier etc. For above mentioned contributions, please write to us at hopecfaorg@gmail.com or call us on 1800-121-7119. Q: I want to contribute material to HCF. Can someone come and pick it up from my place?

Q: Will you issue an acknowledgement/ receipt that I contribute?

Ans: We will issue an acknowledgement/ receipt for material received in cash or kind.

Q: How can I volunteer with HCF?

Ans: Anyone irrespective of age, gender, education, nationality can volunteer with HCF in many different ways, even sitting at home. Write to us at hopecfaorg@gmail.com or call on 1800-121-7119 to find out what suits your circumstances.

Q: Do I have to pay any membership fee to become your member/ volunteer?

Ans: No, there is no membership fee for joining HCF.

Q: Will I get a certificate, if I volunteer with HCF?

Ans: We will surely issue a certificate for the work and duration of time that a person volunteer with HCF on the tasks assigned by us.

Q: Why do you need monetary support?

Ans: The projects we run are huge logistical exercises. Money is needed for expenses on distribution, transportation, office expenses and team salaries. To contribute Click here

Q: How much tax exemption will I get for my monetary contribution to HCF?

Ans: 50 % rebate.
